I saw a job posting from a well known financial institution looking for a Estate Planning Specialist. The responsibilities of this Estate Planning Specialist are:
The responsibilities are typical of estate planners but the focus on high networth individuals. So, what is the minimum qualification and experience required? Minimum qualification: “O” levels, “1 year” and also “Fresh Graduate will be considered.” I almost fainted when I saw the requirements. Nothing is mentioned about the need to have a CFP or ChFC or any other specialised qualification. Who says you need a degree to find a job? There are plenty of jobs for “O” levels students in the financial industry serving the high end market. I did a screen capture of the job advert for your entertainment:
