An Adviser out to destroy my father wanted to sell him a credit linked derivative known as Greatlink Choice. My father is already quite old and cannot take any risk. The agent lied to him that the product is guaranteed by Great Eastern. In reality, Great Eastern does not guarantee the performance of this product. My father nearly bought this product thinking that a good brand guarantees this product. Fortunately he consulted me before putting his retirement saving into this. An ex-GE agent whom I know personally and who knew the fine print of this product in detail pointed out to me the high risk of this investment.
