There is an article entitled “Four child corpses found buried under Chinese bridge” published by Asiaone dated 7 February 2012. The link can be found HERE The following are my comments with regard to that article: Children are extremely vulnerable. They are physically weaker than adults; mentally and emotionally vulnerable. They do not know their rights. Even they know their rights, they may not able to exercise their rights because adults may not listen to their plights. In the article above, the child was beaten to death by the mother’s boyfriend. Apparently, the girl’s father and mother were separated. The question is this: will this happen in Singapore? Well, never say never. But I think the likely scenarios that can happen in Singapore is:
These two scenarios are not remote. If you are a parent, you should take steps to safeguard your children from such scenarios.
