A new investment platform has arrived in Singapore. Just approved by MAS, it seem to me that it is like what we call "One Ring to rule them all". I seen the brochures and forms and amazed how powerful this platform can be. One feature that got me thinking is its implicit ability to create a tax shelter for estate-duty unfriendly investment. Also another thing that got me thinking is the potential ability to have access to international index fund and stocks. I think the days of iFast and Navigator are ending soon.....maybe not yet because iFast and Navigator still have a niche with the mass market. Most of the powerful feature of this new platform are only available for accredited investors which is defined as an individual having at least S$300,000 of annual income or $2m of net asset. I can't wait to go for training....
