For some time now, NTUC Income has allowed switching from Incomeshield P, A, B, and MA to Enhanced Incomeshield Preferred, Advantage, Basic and Basic respectively WITHOUT underwriting. In the insurance world, this is normally unheard of but NTUC Income is giving this "free lunch". However, the gate is now closing soon. With effect from 1 Aug 2007, this is no longer possible. Any upgrade from this date onwards will be subjected to medical underwriting. I STRONGLY suggest those who had not upgraded DO IT NOW. You can ask your NTUC Income agent to do it for you, or visit the NTUC Income's business center. If you don't want the hassle of your agent or business center trying to sell you other things, alternatively I am willing to help you upgrade it on 30 July 2007 from 9:30pm to 5pm, I'll be in office for any walk in personnel for the purpose of this upgrade. Please bring along your NRIC and original NTUC Incomeshield policy document for verification. If you are not the payer (or policy holder), you must bring along the payer with you because consent for the higher premium is required. If you wish to have a more comprehensive insurance planning or investment planning, come to my office to have your plan upgraded first and we can meet up on another day of which time is not of constrained. I don't know how many people will come to my office on Monday - maybe a lot maybe nobody. But its first come first serve. What I do know for very sure is that there are many people who are completely ignorant of this free lunch. I heard from my colleague whose client is under-going chemotherapy and radiotherapy who was not even aware that he/she could upgrade to a better coverage even in that condition. There is a cure of ignorant - the cure is to desire to take control of your life's financial plan. Drop me an email at the "Contact Me" if you are coming this Monday. No consultation fee for this upgrade.
