Dear everybody, I launch a new investment platform. It is under the left menu as "Investment (Accredited Investors)". You guys can read it yourself to see what is it all about. I'll be encouraging some of my eligible clients to "upgrade" to this new platform The definition of "accredited" investors consists of a few parts. One is a test of networth (need at least S$2m in net asset), another is a test of income (need S$300,000 in the proceeding 12 months). The third test was tricky. MAS took a very looonnggg time to confirm whether a person who invests at least S$200,000 lump sum qualifies under the meaning of "accredited" investor. I am glad that dust has settled. A person who don't have S$2m in net asset and don't earn S$300,000 of annual income can still qualify to be an "accredited" investor so long as he is able to invest at least S$200,000 lump sum. I think this is not too terribility difficult as many people should have saved this amount especially if they are in their mid thirities or fourties. Give your comments
