In my post at sgfunds.com HERE , I mentioned that I'll be trying to construct a low cost pure passive-style portfolio using ETFs or passive mutual funds for my clients.
This is now done. I have written a "White Paper on Passive Managed Portfolio Construction Methodology" This White Paper is available on request. However, the White Paper is only available a) for those whom I have met in person (cannot be assured that anonymous request isn't my competitors!) [no need to be my existing client though]; and b) for accredited investors only. Under Securities and Futures Act, an accredited investor is: 1. An individual who is able to invest a sum of not less than SGD 200,000 (or its equivalent in a foreign currency) for each transaction, whether such amount is to be paid for in cash or by exchange of securities or other assets; or 2. An individual whose net personal assets exceed a SGD 2 million in value (or its equivalent in a foreign currency); or 3. An individual whose income in the preceding 12 months is not less than SGD 300,000 (or its equivalent in a foreign currency). The first requirement is usually quite easy to fullfill as it means having SGD 200,000 of investable cash. CPF and SRS not counted. For those who are interested and met the requirements, just click "Contact Me" at the left menu for the White Paper. |
