Thursday and Friday (24 and 25 July) I was not working. I was attending the AFA Congress. AFA stands for Association of Financial Advisers. It consisted of two days of maranthon workshops and seminars on skills and knowledge aspect for the benefit of financial advisers. But I got a confession to make, I spent a lot of time making friends, catching up with people. With two days of work "halted," it is quite a good time getting to know fellow advisers from other companies. I also have sometime getting to know product providers. Usually I worked with them on a formal basis but through these two days I can get to know them in person. Also discovered that many other advisers in other companies and employees of insurers read my blog frequently. That is something new to me! I like to go for the AFA Congress next year.... but it will be for the people :)
