“Dear Wilfred, I went to see financial adviser X for product advice. X discussed with me about various products and finally I bought product called Y. I signed blank forms to expedite the processing. However, when the forms were posted to me I discovered that forms stated X recommended product Y and another product called Q. I did not recall him mentioning anything about Q. X explained that it is his company policy that its advisers recommend at least two products. After I complained, X felt uncomfortable selling me Y and suggested I exercise my free-look period for Y so that I can get back all my money – Regards B” You should feedback to the manager although you don't benefit anything from doing so. You can help future clients by you providing feedback. This is call paying forward. For all you know, in future you are that future client and you have been helped indirectly by another client who paid forward.
