FISCA, setup by the former NTUC Income CEO Mr. Tan Kin Lian focuses on researching financial and investment products that are distributed in Singapore. It also focuses on educating the public about saving and investing. At this time of writing, its website seems to be down. However, a look at Google’s cache shows that its website provide financial articles on Financial Education, Product Reviews, Tests & Quizzes and Financial Crisis Management. FISCA will not be providing personalized advice on stock investment and timing but it aims to educate consumers on financial matters and to help them select financial products that give good value for their savings and investments. FISCA is the third non-profit organization that provides financial education. The other two are Securities Investors Association (SIAS) headed by David Gerald and MoneySense headed by Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Update 2: I just read one of FISCA product review on POSB Myhome. There are some inaccurancies. Want to know more? Read more (login required, clients only.).
